Stainless steel welded pipe
Stainless steel welded pipe, abbreviated as welded pipe, is commonly used as a steel pipe made by welding steel or steel strip after being rolled and formed by the machine and mold. The production process of welded steel pipes is simple, with high production efficiency, multiple varieties and specifications, and less equipment investment, but the general strength is lower than that of seamless steel pipes.
Mainly used for machinery, cars, bicycles, furniture, hotel and restaurant decoration, and other mechanical components and structural components
Since the 1930s, with the rapid development of high-quality strip steel continuous rolling production and the progress of welding and inspection technology, the quality of welds has been continuously improved, and the variety and specifications of welded steel pipes have been increasing. In more and more fields, especially in heat exchange equipment pipes, decorative pipes, medium and low pressure fluid pipes, seamless steel pipes have been replaced.
Advantage for welded pipe
- mall diameter stainless steel welded pipes are produced continuously online. The thicker the wall thickness, the greater the investment in the unit and welding equipment, and the less economical and practical they are. The thinner the wall thickness, the corresponding decrease in its input-output ratio;
- Secondly, the process of this product determines its advantages and disadvantages. Generally, the welded steel pipe has high precision, uniform wall thickness, high surface brightness inside and outside the pipe (the surface brightness of the steel pipe is determined by the surface grade of the steel plate), and can be arbitrarily sized. Therefore, it reflects its economy and aesthetics in high-precision, medium and low pressure fluid applications.
Classification for welded pipe
- According to welding technology: It can be divided into automatic welding and manual welding. Automatic welding generally adopts submerged arc welding and plasma welding, while manual welding generally adopts argon arc welding.
- According to the form of welding seam: It is divided into straight seam welded pipe and spiral welded pipe.
- According to applications: It can be divided into general welded pipes, heat exchanger pipes, condenser pipes, galvanized welded pipes, oxygen blown welded pipes, wire sleeves, metric welded pipes, roller pipes, deep well pump pipes, automotive pipes, transformer pipes, welded thin-walled pipes, welded special shaped pipes, and spiral welded pipes according to their purposes.
