317L grade has stronger chemical corrosion resistance than conventional chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel such as 304 alloy. In addition, 317L alloy has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength and high temperature resistance than conventional stainless steel. It is low carbon grade or L grade, which has anti sensitization performance during welding and heat treatment.
347 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel containing chromium and nickel. This material is stabilized by the combination of col and tantalum. The addition of these elements promotes improved inter granular corrosion resistance. 347 stainless steel is non-magnetic and has corrosion resistance similar to 304 stainless steel.
In the strong oxidation environment, 347 has slightly better corrosion resistance to 321. Depending on the shape, plate, sheet or bar, the particle size and carbon content of carbon may meet the requirements of 347H and 347S.
